Two Wheeled Texans Spring Rally in the Mountains of Arkansas
May 27-30, 2005. |
Please take the time to read this ENTIRE PAGE completely as it
contains information specific to this ride only and may vary from the general
FAQ.
Many portions of the route are technical and require proficient skill at
handling tight curves, blind turns and abrupt elevation changes. Many sections are in
remote areas and emergency assistance may be slow to respond, so please ride accordingly.
You are responsible for your own safety!
You may be worried about traffic since this is a holiday weekend. We have
been here on this same holiday several years in a row and excessive traffic has never been
a problem. Most of the routes we take are so remote that holiday travelers are seldom on
them.
This event does not have an attendance cap like many of our other events.
All participants are responsible for making their own lodging accomodations.
There is a major Blues festival in town this weekend so hotels are filling up quickly and
are not really coming off their rates.
The rides will start each morning at 9:00am from the Comfort Inn of Eureka
Springs, 800-828-0109. If you have not registered already, you may do so right up to the morning
of the first ride.
There are numerous hotels, motels, cabins, B&B's, cottages, etc,... in the area
that are all relatively central to town. For most, trailer parking is likely to be an
issue as the parking lots tend to be small.
